AIR FREIGHT
We are looking for a sponsor willing to airfreight all collected items to Kabul, at no cost to WinterWarm, in October 2008, so that the goods can be distributed by Save The Children Norway-Sweden before the next winter sets in.
SHOES
Solid shoes are always a problem for Afghan children and many walk around in woefully inadequate footwear during the harsh winters. We are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate children’s shoes. These might be seconds or end of line styles. Essentially, warm, dry feet is the only objective and shoes need to be sturdy enough to walk through mud and heavy snows.
COATS & JACKETS
Padded winter parkas are a luxury we take for granted but Afghan children do not have. We are looking for sponsors willing to donate warm winter jackets or coats in children’s sizes. The might be firsts, seconds or end of line styles. Essentially, the aim is simply to keep them warm and dry.
